SHINE! Student Ministry

SHINE! Student Ministry is a vibrant and exciting part of the ministries of First Baptist Killen. The student ministry is dedicated to partnering with the church and the home to reinforce the biblical values taught in both places. Through interactive Bible Study, challenging Sunday School classes, trips, retreats, and various other events, our students grow close to one another as they develop and strengthen their walk with the Lord.

Let’s face it; our culture isn’t necessarily the safest place for our teenagers. Everyday our students find themselves expecting to conform to a culture that slips further away from Biblical and traditional values.

In the student ministry setting at FBK, our students are taught to “be all things to all people” while at the same time not conforming to the ever-changing standard of the culture.

We love opportunities to meet students and show them the awesome Student Center – a place dedicated solely to them. Come meet the teachers and leaders that dedicate their lives to investing in teenagers. Hang out with us on a Wednesday night when all the students are gathered as one group in the Student Center for Worship and Bible Study, then stick around and hear about our events and trips.

There’s a place for you in our Student Ministry. Please join us!

SUNDAY SCHOOL: 9:00 am in our dedicated Student Center Classrooms

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES: 6:00 pm in the Student Center.

The Student Center is on the extreme west end of the campus, facing Poplar Street.
